Centre for Movement Family Membership (Launching in Jan 2026)

Terms and Conditions

Membership Fees & Payment
Membership fees must be paid by the 10th of every month. A late fee of $1 per day will apply for delayed payments. Failure to make payment by the end of the month will result in automatic deactivation of the membership card. Reactivation will require a $20 fee in addition to any accrued late charges.

Membership fees must be paid in full prior to activation or renewal. Renewal reminders will be sent before expiry; however, it is the member’s responsibility to ensure timely renewal to avoid lapses in access.

Late renewals may incur administrative charges. All membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, and will not be prorated under any circumstance, whether monthly, quarterly, or annual.

Fees may be reviewed annually, and members will be notified of any revision at least 30 days in advance.

Eligibility & Family Definition
The Family Membership is open to households comprising up to two adults (parents) and their children aged eighteen months and above. Children below three years of age must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. Membership is strictly for the registered family unit and may not be extended to relatives, domestic helpers, or friends. Any use of the facilities by unregistered individuals will be considered unauthorised.

Usage & Access
Only registered members may use the facilities. All members must present and verify their membership card upon request by staff; misuse or lending of the card to another person may result in suspension or revocation of privileges.

Supervision and Responsibility
Parents and guardians are fully responsible for the safety and conduct of their children while on the premises.

Children under twelve must always be accompanied by a registered adult family member, and are strictly prohibited from entering the gym and must be properly attended to if they are elsewhere on the premises.

Members are expected to maintain proper conduct, follow all safety instructions, and use equipment responsibly. Unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful behaviour may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of membership.

Private Coaching
Private coaching is strictly prohibited on all courts, pools, and gym areas unless authorised by CFM. Each breach of this policy incurs a $100 fine. Upon receiving three warnings, membership will be revoked permanently, and the individual will not be eligible to reapply.

Facility Use & Booking

Certain facilities and programmes require advance booking. Access may be limited during private events or maintenance. The Centre reserves the right to manage capacity and scheduling to ensure fair access for all members. Members must comply with operational hours, lifeguard directions, and facility-specific guidelines at all times.

Gym Suspension & Hold
Members may request a temporary suspension for up to two months, provided all outstanding payments have been made. Requests must be submitted at least fourteen days in advance and are subject to administrative approval. Any suspension exceeding two months will be considered a withdrawal, requiring a new membership application and payment of registration fees. Members may not request suspension while carrying unpaid late fees.

Membership Suspension
Members may request a temporary suspension for up to two months. Requests must be submitted at least 14 days in advance. Suspension will not be granted if there are outstanding late fees, and all monthly fees must be fully paid before the suspension begins. Any suspension exceeding two months will be considered a withdrawal, and a new membership application (with registration fees) will be required.

Conduct, Misuse & Termination
Members must comply with all Centre for Movement policies, operational hours, and facility regulations. Misuse of facilities, unsafe behaviour, or refusal to follow staff or lifeguard instructions may lead to immediate suspension or termination of membership. In cases of serious misconduct, the Centre may revoke membership without refund. The Centre reserves the right to deny access or terminate membership at its discretion if policies are breached or payments remain outstanding.

Health, Safety & Liability
Members participate in all activities at their own risk. While the Centre maintains general public liability insurance, personal accident coverage is the responsibility of each member. CFM and all affiliated parties including NTU shall not be liable for any injury, accident, or loss of property arising from the use or misuse of facilities. Members with known medical conditions must obtain medical clearance prior to participation in physical activities. Parents and guardians must disclose relevant health information for their children before enrolment.

Members must report any injury, accident, or unsafe condition immediately to Centre for Movement staff. In the event of an emergency, all members must follow the instructions of staff and comply with evacuation procedures. The Centre reserves the right to close facilities temporarily for maintenance, safety, or weather-related reasons without refund or compensation.

Media & Photography
By participating in activities at CFM, members consent to the use of photographs and video recordings for marketing, social media, and educational purposes. Parents or guardians who wish to exclude their children from media coverage may submit a written request before participation.

Data Privacy
By registering for a membership, members consent to Centre for Movement collecting, using, and storing their personal information for membership administration, communication, and safety purposes. All personal data will be managed in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

The Centre will not share member data with external parties except where necessary for operational purposes such as payment processing, system access, or safety compliance. All information will remain confidential and safeguarded in compliance with the PDPA.

Communication & Updates
CFM reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Members will be notified through official communication channels such as email or the Parent/Student portal (for current students of Sports Schoolings). Continued use of facilities following notification will be considered acceptance of the updated terms.

Suspension and Termination by Centre for Movement
The Centre reserves the right to suspend or terminate any membership for rule violations, misconduct, or non-compliance with policies. No refunds will be provided in such cases. Termination may apply to the entire family membership if any one member breaches the conditions of use.

Member Code of Conduct
Members must show respect to all staff of Sports Schooling and partner tenants at CFM, with cooperation and courteous behaviour expected at all times. Verbal abuse, harassment, intimidation, or any aggressive behaviour toward staff, coaches, or fellow members is strictly prohibited. Disregard for gym rules, safety guidelines, or hygiene standards in gyms and shower/changing facilities may also be considered a breach of conduct. Non-compliance with these standards may result in immediate termination of membership at the discretion of management, who reserves the right to take appropriate action to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
