FAQs: Join the Centre for Movement (CFM) Family
The CFM Family Membership is available for families with children aged 18 months and above (parent-accompanied for toddlers, children 3+ for unaccompanied programmes).
Each membership covers two adults and their children only, with all names required to be registered at the time of enrolment. Children below the age of 12 must always be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian when using the facilities.
The spouse listed on the membership cannot be substituted with any other individual, and proof of marriage is required during sign-up. Additionally, the birth certificates of all children must be provided for verification at the time of enrolment.
Children aged 18 and above will be required to have their own individual MOVE or MOVE+ membership to access the Centre for Movement facilities.
Yes. There is a one-time registration fee of $20 per adult (before GST) for all members, including spouses. This fee covers access cards and administrative costs. Children included in the family membership are not required to pay this registration fee.
Once you sign up, a member of our team will send you an acknowledgment of payment. Please note that membership fees are non-pro-rated, even if you join mid-month or after the month starts. Each adult member will receive a membership card, which must be presented upon arrival at Centre for Movement for verification and when registering for programmes.
CFM reserves the right to turn away anyone who does not have a copy of the card, and photo identification may also be required to ensure that the name matches the registered member.
The membership only covers families with children aged 17 and below. Children in the year they turn 18 (based on birth year, not exact birthday) must register for their own Individual MOVE or MOVE+ membership.
Membership fees are non-refundable, regardless of attendance, change of mind, or withdrawal from programmes.
Refunds will also not be provided for missed sessions, camps, or temporary closures due to maintenance or weather conditions.
We encourage all families to make full use of their memberships and programmes during the active period to enjoy the full range of benefits offered.
If you lose your membership card, a replacement card can be issued for a fee of $20. The new card will be ready within 3 working days. Please fill in the replacement form to request it. Until the replacement is issued, you will not be allowed to access Centre for Movement facilities or venues.
Members may request a temporary suspension of their membership for a minimum of one full calendar month and up to a maximum of two full calendar months.
Suspension requests must be submitted in writing at least one month in advance.
Please note that suspensions cannot commence mid-month, and during the suspension period, neither your spouse nor your children are permitted to use the membership or access the facilities.
If a suspension longer than two months is required, the membership must be formally withdrawn by submitting the withdrawal form.
A new registration, including applicable registration fees, will be required to rejoin.
Membership at the Centre for Movement is strictly limited to paid, registered members. Guests, temporary passes, or any exceptions are not permitted under any circumstances. Membership privileges apply solely to the registered member, and CFM reserves the right to deny entry to anyone who is not an active member.
Private coaching at the swimming pools or courts is strictly prohibited. Members found in violation will receive a warning, and a fine of $100 will be imposed for each infraction. After three warnings, the membership will be terminated immediately, and the member will not be eligible to rejoin.
Yes, you may bring your guests once the booking has been successfully made. However, guests are not allowed to access other areas of the premises, and members must accompany their guests to the changing rooms.
Please remember to bring your membership card for verification when arriving with your guests.
Updates will be shared via email and CFM’s social media channels. Important dates for exclusive workshops and events will be announced in advance.
Membership payments are due by the 10th of each month. Late payments will incur a charge of $1 per day until the membership is renewed. If payment is not received by the end of the month, membership privileges will be revoked. To reactivate a membership, a fee of $20 will apply, and any accrued late charges must be fully settled before access is restored.
A minimum of one month’s advance notice is required for membership cancellation. Membership fees are non-pro-rated, and suspensions are not permitted under any circumstances. To cancel your membership, please complete the cancellation form here: [Insert Form Link]. Our team will provide a confirmation acknowledgment within three working days.
Yes, currently the membership applies only to the facilities and programmes at CFM. This allows us to focus on providing a high-quality experience for all members. We may expand access in the future, so stay tuned for updates!
Yes, the CFM facilities may occasionally be closed for maintenance, renovations, or safety reasons.
While advance notice will be provided whenever possible, members should note that membership extensions or refunds will not be issued for these temporary closures.
Helpers or caregivers are not automatically included in your membership. In good faith, they may assist with supervising your child, but they are strictly not allowed to use the facilities themselves. Children must be accompanied and supervised at all times in all areas of the Centre for Movement.
Only one designated caregiver per family is permitted, and this does not include grandparents, extended family, or friends.
Yes, members with MOVE or MOVE+ memberships are given priority booking and early-bird rates for selected workshops and camps before registration opens to the general public.
All members are expected to follow the rules, regulations, and staff instructions at all times while using Centre for Movement facilities.
In the event of a breach, a formal warning letter may be issued to inform the member of the violation and the corrective action required.
Repeated or serious breaches may lead to termination of membership, with no refund of fees.
This policy helps maintain a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all members.
